Our Mission . . .

The purpose of the Lynnwood Free Methodist Church is to be a Christ centered church communicating God’s grace to our community through acceptance, encouragement and service.

LFMC Core Values . . .

  1. Christ Centered  -  We believe that salvation can only be found through Jesus Christ.  He leads the Church as the Head, and shepherds each one of us daily.  (John 14:6; Matt. 6:9-13; Ps.23)

  2. Biblical Authority  -  God has spoken to us through the Bible, and we recognize it as the final authority for our lives.  (II Tim. 3:16-17)

  3. Everyone has Value  -  Everyone is a child of God and matters to God.  (Matt. 15:21-28; 19:14; John 4:4-14)

  4. Passionate Prayer  -  Prayer is essential to every believer and has the power to change people’s lives and situations.  (II Kings 20:5; Mark 9:29; James 5:16)

  5. Evangelism  -  As we reach out to others to meet their needs, we will be reaching the people Jesus misses most.  (Luke 15:4; John 3:16)

  6. Discipleship  -  We desire to grow spiritually through education, mentoring, small groups and accountable relationships.  Matt. 5:48; Luke 14: 25-26; Gal. 5:22-25)

  7. Transforming Ministry  -  We believe all Christians are ministers and should serve in a manner consistent with their gifts given by the Holy Spirit.  (II Cor. 5:17; Eph. 2:10)
